Costs of registration for the full conference, concessions, day rates, and conference dinner are listed below. Registration and payment can be made using a Mastercard/Visa credit card, UK debit card or cheque. Payment by card can be made on-line. Please try to book your excursions prior to the conference. Although you can book at registration, we cannot guarantee places will be left on all excursions at that point.
The main accommodation for conference delegates will be in centrally placed
University Halls of Residence. Rooms are single occupancy, en-suite, and linen and towels are provided. Optional evening meals can also be booked as part of the Halls of Residence package.

A small number of Travel Awards (Word document available here) have been made available specifically to assist graduate student members of the Challenger Society to attend the Challenger Conference 2008.
This special interest group encompasses the UK sea-ice research community, and covers aspects of in situ and remote observation, modelling and climatology. (Find out more on the POL website.) The group will be meeting on Friday 12th September. To attend this meeting, please click on appropriate button on the on-line registration form. You can book an extra nights accommodation (e.g. friday) at a discount rate of £35. You will be billed an additional £22 for attending this meeting.
The European Federation of Marine Science and Technology Societies (EFMS) founded in December 1998 in Paris, consists of non-governmental established scientific European Associations specializing in research and education relating to the marine environment. To find out more about the society please visit their web site.
Members of the society will be meeting on Friday 12th September at the School of Ocean Sciences, Menai Bridge. To attend this meeting, please click on appropriate button (attending EFMS meeting) on the on-line registration form and you can then register for the conference as a Challenger Society member. If you book accommodation you will also get a discounted rate of £35 per night. If you prefer to stay in Menai Bridge please organise your own accommodation using the list of hotels on our accommodation web page.
